Composite Wood
Composite wood products at Cambria Plastics are made using 100% post-consumed household products such as plastic milk jugs, plastic drink bottles, sawdust, and cardboard boxes. At our production facility in Johnstown, PA, we combine and reconstitute recycled household plastics into a durable and environmentally friendly product, composite wood. This composite wood has all the best qualities of wood and all the best qualities of plastic. Plastic makes Cambria Plastics, LLC's composite wood products durable and long lasting by covering, strengthening, and protecting sawdust and other materials from damage-causing elements in the environment such as moisture, weather, and insects. PANDYA composite wood does not require paint, sealants, or stain as preservatives, and the color is embedded throughout the entire composite wood product, not just on the top.
Cambria Plastics, LLC's composite wood products are available in various sizes and colors, making them ideal for use in landscaping and fencing applications as well as picnic tables, parking blocks, speed bumps, railings, sandboxes, decks, sign posts, and many other applications. When you buy composite wood from Cambria Plastics, LLC., you help the environment. Our composite wood is made from 100% post-consumed products recycled by environmentally conscious residents of Pennsylvania. The plastic used in our process comes from local residential and county recycling efforts. The sawdust comes from local sawmills, and the cardboard comes from local businesses and residents. We recycle more than 2,000 pounds of plastic every day in our composite wood facility. Just think of how many milk jugs and soda bottles PANDYA's Green Division keeps out of landfills and turns into useful products every day! That's giving Mother Nature a helping hand!
