Composite Wood Maintenance and Care
PANDYA's environmentally friendly composite wood requires very little maintenance and care. Painting and staining are not necessary to protect the composite wood, but certain products may be painted if desired. Composite wood can be washed with soap and water and can also be cleaned using deck cleaning solutions, mild chlorine solution, and/or pressure wash. Composite wood is not meant to be used around extreme heat, for burning things such as firewood, fireplaces, or insulation under or around burn barrels. Composite wood is more flexible than wood and is not designed to be used as load-bearing structural material in construction. Consult your local building codes for specific building code requirements and regulations.
